An easy way to save money on heat this winter is by using your ceiling fan! Running your ceiling fan on low in a clock wise direction circulates warm air into your home or business. Since heat rises, the air by the ceiling is warmer than the air by the floor. Instead, the air near the ceiling is pushed up and outward, causing it to circulate down near the perimeter of the room. Any heat generated by the fan’s motor is a bonus in the winter, so you can keep it running whether you are present in the room or not.”
